Communication-Free Interleaving Control of Parallel-Connected DC-DC Converters

Parallel-connected converters are commonly used in applications such as DC microgrids. The presence of multiple allows for the use interleaving technique to minimize bus ripple. Most existing methods rely on communication lines, which unsuitable distributed scenarios. This paper presents a method that requires no line. elimination lines reduces system’s complexity and cost while improving its reliability. We provide an analytical guarantee stability validate control using phasor simulation experimental prototype with three 24 V 8 DC-DC buck connected parallel. Measurements show proposed parallel system maintain interleaved state face load steps plugged out.
